Xylitol oder Xylit ist ein natürliches Süßungsmittel, ein Zuckeralkohol, der unter anderem aus Birken gewonnen wird. Seine Süßkraft ist mit der des Zuckers vergleichbar, aber sein glykämischer Index (GI) und sein Kaloriengehalt sind niedriger, deshalb wird es auch als Zuckerersatz verwendet. Wird auch gern bei zuckerfreiem Kaugummi verwendet. Das BioTechUSA Xylitol-Pulver enthält ausschließlich Xylit.

Hergestellt in einem Betrieb, in dem Milch, Eier, Gluten, Soja, Erdnüsse, Schalenfrüchte, Sellerie, Fisch, Krebstiere, Weichtiere, und Schwefeldioxid bearbeitet werden.
